The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) performs a thorough and complete preanesthetic assessment; obtains informed consent; formulates, implements and adjusts the anesthesia plan of care; provides anesthesia care and education regarding anesthesia care to patients of all ages. Performs pain assessment; administers medications; identifies changes or high risk situations in patient’s condition; transfers the responsibility for the care of the patient assuring continuity of care; demonstrates knowledge and use of equipment; completes all documentation according to policy/procedure. Provides other necessary services throughout the hospital.

To provide financial education to JRMC staff in collaboration with coding, Revenue Cycle and Compliance leadership.  Facilitates the learning process of coding and documentation education for coders and clinicians. This position supervises employees and operations of both environmental services and linen services. Will be trained in all areas that services are provided. Will provide daily support to employees where needed. Will create schedule for both departments. Will work with compliance in multiple facets.The position assures staffing levels are met to ensure clean, orderly and attractive conditions in the hospital and that linen is properly processed and delivered throughout the facility.

Days of work are typically Monday-Friday with hours from 5:00am - 12:30pm, occasional Saturday and Sunday and occasional holidays, typically 7:30am - 5:45pm. Weekend and holiday work are as needed.     Prepares breakfast for patients and cafe daily.  Preps items for salad bar and prepares salads, sandwiches and other items for Grab-n-Go refrigerator.  Prepares and delivers caterings as scheduled.  Fill in for cook posiiton as needed.  Completes other assignments as assigned.   Under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Supervisor, prepares and mixes ingredients for salads, and similar cold dishes for the salad bar, cafeteria, and patient meals.  Prepares breakfast items for patients and cafeteria service daily.  Sets up (or checks) and delivers catering carts with special food and beverage requests as needed.

Part-time, unbenefited position working 39 hours per two week pay period. Days of work are Saturday - Sunday. Hours are variable 12 hour shifts on a day/night rotation. Weekend work, holiday work, and night call are variable.   Contributes to the nursing process by performing patient care and non-patient care activities as delegated by the registered nurse (RN). Able to perform aspects of nursing practices in which they have completed the theory component in the academic setting and have competencies validated by the RN before performing them independently. The nurse intern works under the direction of the RN and must be co-assigned to a registered nurse at all times.
